Ordering with Clarkes Recognition Products

We make ordering awards simple, reliable, and transparent. Here’s everything you need to know:

Clarkes Guarantee

We stand behind our work. Every order goes through:

• Digital proof approval via email before production
• Final hand inspection to ensure quality and accuracy

If we make an error, we’ll fix it promptly at no cost to you. If an error was approved by the client, we’ll still resolve it quickly, but charges may apply.

 Artwork & Setup Charge

• Standard Products: No artwork charge
• Custom Artwork: $55 minimum, then $55/hour if needed
• Logo Redraws: Charged based on time; all versions are provided to you
• Setup Charges: Apply to all custom and special orders

Deposits

• A 50% deposit is required for all custom orders. A custom order is a product that currently does not exist or needs to be created.
• A 50% deposit is required for all sizable orders for clients without approved credit with Clarkes Accounting Department. Approved Credit takes about 1 week.

Please provide artwork in vector format:

Preferred Vector File Formats

These formats retain scalability and quality, making them ideal for engraving, printing, and design:

• .AI (Adobe Illustrator) – Native format for Illustrator; widely used in professional design
• .EPS (Encapsulated PostScript) – Compatible with most design and engraving software
• .SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) – Web-friendly and scalable; useful for digital applications
• .PDF (Portable Document Format) – Only if saved/exported from vector software with editable paths
• .CDR (CorelDRAW) – Native format for CorelDRAW; commonly used in engraving industries

Production Time

• Completion dates are agreed upon in advance.
• We do our best to meet your completion date. Note the larger the project the more time it takes.
• We do not accept orders with due dates we cannot meet
• We take deadlines seriously and deliver on time

Fonts for Sand Carving

• Font selection for glass, crystal, or marble is subject to process limitations
• Clarkes will make the final decision on font suitability

Colour Fill Charges

Sand Carving:

• Standard colours: No mixing fee. Enamel in stock; Black, Red, Blue, Gold, SIlver
• Custom colours: $20 minimum mixing fee

Piano Finish Wood, Glass, Crystal, Marble:

• Colour fill available
• $20 minimum charge
• Common colours: Metallic gold, silver, copper

Materials & Quality Standards

We inspect every item and maintain strict quality control.

• Some materials may have natural or supply chain limitations
• If a quality issue affects delivery, we’ll notify you immediately
• You decide how to proceed in such cases
